Kiran Mehdee is a writer of poetry, short stories, essays and articles, a spoken word artist and performer, and an educator with a keen interest in social cultural anthropology, humour, art, linguistics, mythology, ethics and philosophy, sexual diversity and the history of human sexuality.

Born in Karachi, Pakistan in the late 1970’s, Kiran grew up partly in her country of birth and partly in the U.S., before moving to Canada in 2004.
